We at Galligan Family Dentistry understand that going to the dentist is not always the most convenient or anticipated appointment on your calendar. For that reason, we offer special comforts to set you at ease.

Our Wakefield office is conveniently located to serve the residents of Wake Forest, North Raleigh, Youngsville, and Rolesville communities. Our focus is to serve our neighboring families and the location is convenient to many family oriented facilities in our area. Located near the intersection of Capital Boulevard and New Falls of Neuse Rd., our dental office is minutes from many schools, shopping centers, and other medical facilities in North Raleigh and Wake Forest.

We recognize how important your time is and do our best to ensure that you never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen by our staff. We offer same day emergency visits and due to our focus on individualized scheduling we can often arrange same week scheduled appointments. Also, we guarantee ample time to discuss your questions or concerns about any aspect of your dental visit.

For the Kids

Kids who visit our Raleigh dental office will discover a fun and entertaining atmosphere that teaches them to be excited about oral health. Our lobby features a kids’ area, complete with an Xbox 360, an outside putting green, and other rewards so children can relax and enjoy themselves while visiting us. Unlike some pediatric dentist offices, our focus is on individualized visits with less hectic reception rooms and an overall slower paced dental atmosphere and experience.

Many parents comment that our individualized attention with children has changed the way their kids perceive dentist visits. Our office is mostly staffed by parents of children of all ages and we truly understand the needs and desires of pediatric dental care. We provide a slow paced environment, that gives each child time to become acquainted with our staff, office, and techniques. Our goal is to incorporate fun and reward based education and treatment to allow successful visits and long range positive dental experiences for our pediatric patients.
Our kid-friendly office welcomes pediatric patients of all ages and actively provide preventive and minimally invasive treatment for children from ages two and above, so bring your whole family for a check up!

For the Adults

During your dental treatment, you have the option of listening to XM radio on wireless headphones to take your mind off of the procedure and block out the sounds of dental instruments. In addition, our WAND anesthesia system and gentle chair side manners will ensure that your experience is virtually pain and stress free. Dr. Galligan and our staff make you the priority and will never rush if you have questions or concerns regarding anything from oral hygiene to dental insurance. This is something we pride ourselves on and believe differentiates us from other dentist’s offices, you will not be treated like a number in our office.
