Galligan Family Dentistry utilizes The Wand/STA anesthetic delivery system. It is a computer-controlled, non-intimidating anesthesia instrument that can be positioned gently and accurately often without knowing it’s there. It also has a more precisely controlled flow rate than traditional syringes which prevents the leading cause of injection pain, pressure from the solution. This device is the closest that dentist’s have come to pain-free injections and is significantly less stressful than traditional needles and injections – pediatric patients rarely recognize an injection is being performed!
